Commencing with the November 2024 release, the GSWA 'Open File' SQL Server download is available direct from GSWA (in .bak and BCP-compatible formats). Also from November 2024, the 'All WA Pivoted' DH & SS datasets will be produced by GSWA and are available as part of the main 'Open File' download or can be downloaded separately. These downloads are available from the DEMIRS 'Download and Software Centre (DASC)' - a link is provided in the 'Quick Links' section of this website. This website is currently based on the May 2024 GSWA dataset. We are processing the November 2024 release and the website will be updated to reflect this when processing is complete.
"Open File MDHDB" database as supplied by GSWA (May 2024 release) Please note that there are 2 versions available. The first is the original version provided in SQL 2022 format and can only be restored to an SQL 2022 or later instance. The second is a modfied version that has been migrated to SQL 2016, and can be restored to SQL 2016 or later versions.
"All of WA harmonised & pivoted Assays" dataset (Microsoft SQL Server .bak format). This dataset provides
harmonised and pivoted data (all analytes) for all of WA Downhole (DH) and Surface (SS) assays derived from
the May 2024 release of the GSWA MDHDB database.

A Postgres backup of the subset of data tables used by this website (derived from the GSWA May 2024 release). Please note that there are 2 versions available. The first is provided in 'PSQL' format which can be restored by executing the SQL commands in Postgres. The second is a 'compressed' pg_dump, which has to be restored using the Postgres 'pg_restore' utility. Please view the 'read more' document to learn more about the different versions.
